Advisory Board

VF Venture’s Advisory Board supports management in our portfolio companies as well as the VF Venture team. The Advisory Board members all have strong operational backgrounds from tech companies. They support on deal flow, selection of investment opportunities, identifying key operational team members, sparring on trends and developments, just as they often invest alongside VF Venture.

Lars-Erik Houmann (Industry)

Lars-Erik Houmann Christensen, with over 30 years as manager and investor in a large number of companies, has extensive experience in relation to both the strategic considerations and decisions and the operational challenges that all companies face - not least in a growth phase. The experience covers: retail, manufacturing, real estate development / investing as well as IT and start-ups, more mature companies and turn-arounds and includes a number of exits.

Niels Finseth (Industry)

Niels Finseth is a serial entrepreneur and angle investor in IT, nano tech and industrial start ups. Niels was a lead technologist in GiGA. GiGA was acquired by Intel, the US based computer chip maker for 10 billion kr. in 2000. Niels was an angle investor and chairman in Merus Audio, a VF Venture backed startup, until its acquisition by Infineon in 2018. Niels is an active investor and advisor in multiple startups: Mono Solutions, Nordic Power Converters, OCTlight and Balancair.

Thomas Visti (Industry)

Thomas Visti Jensen is a key person in the commercial success of Mobile Industrial Robots, a global leading manufacturer of collaborative mobile robots, and his involvement in the booming robot industry has contributed to creating a large number of jobs in his hometown of Odense, Denmark. Thomas joined Mobile Industrial Robots in 2014 as the CEO and as an investor. From 2009 to 2014 Thomas was part of building up the successful robot company, Universal Robots.

Finn Halken (Industry)

Finn is CEO and founder of Furbo & Halken; a consultant and investment company. From 1991 to 2014 Finn was CEO and majority owner of Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S and DIS, Danish Interpretation Systems A/S. Finn was investor and board member of Merus Audio from 2014 until the exit to Infinion in 2018. Finn has been chairman of the board of directors at a number of companies abroad and holds currently chairman and board positions in Denmark.

Charlotte Bruun Piester (Medtech)

Charlotte brings substantial insights within the life science industry based on over 25 years in the field and with a strong track record in leading business and organisations. She has held executive positions in global companies, been part of the build-up of four companies, her latest is Sinua Partners ApS and sits on several boards and acts as chairperson for life science companies. Recently she and her partner launched a one of a kind MedTech business book.

Ulrik Spork (Medtech)

Ulrik Spork is Director of SporCon Lifescience Advisors IVS and Salient Pharma ApS. He is chairman of the Board of Directors of Danish Growth Capital II, Practio ApS, MedTrace A / S, SOBEC EMEA Aps, ROS-Therapeutics Aps and Technolution A/S. Furthermore, Ulrik is board member in Reapplix A / S, Statumanu Aps and in Dianova A / S. Ulrik was part of the Executive Board of Novo Holdings. Previously, he was Head of Group Business Development at Novo Nordisk, as well as Chairman of DVCA.

Patrick Dahlen (Medtech)

Patrick Dahlen has spent the past 33 years of his career in life science and diagnostics. For 16 years he worked with PerkinElmer in the US and Finland. In the last 18 years Patrik has worked as the CEO for various companies including SSI Diagnostica (current), Dako, NeuroSearch, BioImage and Immunodiagnostics Plc. Patrick has served as the Chairman of the Board in several companies like Olink Biosystems, Proxeon, and Sophion Biosciences with successful exits as a result.

Søren Thestrup-Nielsen (Medtech)

Søren Thestrup-Nielsen is Corporate Vice President of Danaher Corporation, Chairman of the Board of Cathvision ApS. He is board member of 3Brain AG as well as of Sensasion GmbH and for a long time was Director of Radiometer and Executive Chairman of Althea Group Ltd. Søren is also a founder of Sensimed AG and a private investor in a number of medical and diagnostic companies in Switzerland and the USA.

Mogens Elsberg (ICT)

Since autumn 2017, Mogens Elsberg has been the Operating Partner in Marlin Private Equity. Mogens was previously director of Bluegarden, and before that he was CEO of e-conomic and GN Store Nord. He co-founded his own company within the Payment Services industry. Previously, he served as General Manager at Microsoft and held several senior positions at IBM. Mogens also works with his own investments in various startup companies within B2B software.

Jesper Johansen (ICT)

Jesper Johansen is chairman and investor of OrderYOYO and Edulab - two Vækstfonden financed SaaS companies. As an active investor in technology companies, he has worked with acquisitions, sales and investments in technology companies for 20 years. Previously, Jesper Johansen was chairperson of Secunia, Libratone, Mofibo and Plenti, board member of Endomondo and Reson as well as investor in Traen and TIA Technology. All are companies successfully sold over the last 10 years

Claus Moseholm (ICT)

Claus Moseholm is an entrepreneur, investor and board member. Claus has worked with startups in a variety of industries over the last 20 years; Founder and CCO in goviral, a bootstrapped start up that was sold to AOL for $ 97m in 2011. Investor and CCO in GameAnalytics sold to Mobvista in 2016. Investor and board member in Drivr and Spiri. Co-founder and Chairman of EasyCorrect. Board Member of DonkeyRepublic. Investor and interim CEO of Paralenz. CEO of Next Dynamics.

Greg Castle (ICT)

Greg is the managing partner of Anorak Ventures, a seed-stage venture firm focused on emerging technology. Greg has worked closely with and invested in over 60 companies, counting six exits including the $3B acquisition of Oculus by Facebook. He invests internationally and leverages his network to help unlock new partnership. Greg founded and ran a restaurant chain before moving into technology as a marketing executive at Scaleform (acq. 2011), Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK), and Glassdoor (acq. 2018).
