Feats will revolutionize the way companies connect with talent

Feats closes a pre-seed round with participation from Vækstfonden, The Danish Growth Fund. Feats, a Danish tech startup, has closed its first investment round in the middle of the corona crisis. The groundbreaking platform opens up new possibilities for companies hiring employees, freelancers, or agencies. In Feats, it is your project history that counts. The round combines investments from leading Angel investors with a convertible loan from Vækstfonden.

Feats is a next-generation professional network built on a simple insight; that your project history is now more important than your employment history. Michael Sherain, Co-founder and CEO, explains, “Companies do projects to drive innovation, develop products, and create campaigns. These projects define the careers of the people involved, but until now, there was no easy way for them to get recognized for their work. Feats gives them a verified track record of the projects they worked on.”

Companies doing projects with external suppliers, agencies, and freelancers experience the other side of this problem – not knowing who actually worked on their projects. Michael continues, “The people who worked on your past projects may be the best for future projects. Not knowing who they are creates risks and missed opportunities for future collaboration or employment.”

During the corona crisis it is more important than ever before that we help develop the companies of the future"

It is an open platform where anyone can add projects. Then, Feats’ unique technology verifies each team member’s role. Feats also gets projects seen by more people, creating opportunities for everyone involved. There are now more than 2,000 projects for Danish companies such as LEGO, Georg Jensen, Carlsberg, and many more that you can dive into.

The range of roles Feats now represents is also impressive, from developers to designers to project managers. This diversity of roles makes Feats very different from traditional portfolio sites.

With new investment in place, Feats now needs to raise awareness in the market so that even more people can benefit from the platform.

Vækstfonden, which has granted a convertible loan to Feats, is looking forward to following the development. “Feats is an interesting company because they are creating an entirely new dataset for the job market. The understanding that it is personal contributions to successful projects, not job titles or hierarchies that move companies, is powerful. We are very happy to support Feats - During the corona crisis it is more important than ever before that we help develop the companies of the future,” says Jesper Hart-Hansen, Investment Manager in Vaekstfonden and responsible for the investment I Feats.
