The publishing firm, Alinea, has acquired the company, EduLab, which Vaekstfonden invested in for the first time in 2017 and again in 2019. EduLab is among other things the brain behind MatematikFessor, which has great success and is used in the main part of primary schools today.

Advalight looks into new strategic markets with rebranding

VF Venture backed company Advalight is on the basis of new clinical breakthrough results launching a strategic repositioning of its ADATx medical laser system for skin treatment under the tagline “Power 2 Restore”. Advalight is broadening its focus from mainly treatment of vascular skin lesions to also offering skin rejuvenation under the treatment protocol names “ADVABright” and “ADVAClear”. The relaunch of the brands’ strategic focus was revealed at last month’s IMCAS conference in Paris – Europe’s largest gathering for companies within plastic surgery and dermatology.


Rokoko + Autodesk: Motion Library is coming to Maya!

Animators working in Autodesk Maya will soon have access to multi-million dollar motion capture assets readily available thanks to the Motion Library! Rokoko will be bringing the Motion Library directly inside of Maya as a plugin. Imagine being able to drag and drop an animation file created by the motion capture studio behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That is now possible for Maya users who gain access to the Motion Library. The Motion Library can drastically improve your workflow when blocking out scenes.


Visma acquires FirstAgenda

Norwegian Visma becomes the new owner of the Aarhus-based FirstAgenda. Vaekstfonden invested in the company for the first time back in 2017. FirstAgenda has developed a SaaS cloud-platform to help preparations for meetings as well as during meetings. The company is founded in 2015 and has since had continuous growth. Today they serve the software solution to five regions, 93 of the countries municipalities, as well as several harbors, non-governmental organizations, and trade unions.
